Rehearsals for the Christmas Concert will begin Monday, September 14, 2026 at 6:30 – for sign-in and music distribution. It’s confirmed—Dr. Barry Williamson will be our Artistic Director for the upcoming Fall/Christmas Season! We meet at Acton Methodist Church in the Choir Practice Room.
Bring some new singers too! Our regular rehearsals on Monday from 7pm to 9pm. We plan to have fun, meet new friends, and gain satisfaction as we master the wide variety of music and give entertaining concerts to the community with a variety of instrumentalists.
Our concert theme is “The Joy of Christmas”. A sub-theme, when appropriate, is “featuring Handel’s “Messiah”.
We are very happy that our Artistic Director Barry Scott Williamson is returning this season to lead us. Barry is intimately familiar with the focus piece of the concert Handel’s Messiah, having conducted it many times with choruses, soloists and orchestras. Plus, Myra Dykes is coming back as the Accompanist after taking a season off!
Our dues are a flat $35 per person.
We look forward to seeing you! If you have any questions, please email to granburycivicchorus2001@gmail.com.
